Aerate your potting mix and increase drainage with this staple for any plant keeper. A porous soil amendment with water storage capabilities, yet providing excellent drainage, it aids in preventing root rot.

We recommend a handful added to premium potting mix for a smaller plant, and an extra handful for larger plants.

Use fine grade perlite for fine-rooted plants like hoyas, cacti, begonias, peperomia  and some ficus.  If in doubt, just ask us!

150g bags. (approx 20-25 repots, depending on pot size)

Please note that perlite, as with any potting media, may be a health hazard if inhaled. Use in a well ventilated area and wear gloves and mask while handling.
