An attractive native fern with upright stems and leathery dark green leaves, that makes for a surprisingly low maintenance houseplant. Prefers bright filtered light, and allow soil to dry out slightly between watering, as unlike other ferns, the Sickle Fern does not require constantly moist soil. Tolerant of cooler climates, so can be grown indoors or outdoors in a sheltered position protected from frost.
