Hoya Krinkle - 13cm pot

Hoya Krinkle is a bold and distinctive variety known for its large, crinkled leaves. A variation of the classic Hoya carnosa, this cultivar boasts thick, glossy foliage with deep dimples or folds, giving it a textured, sculptural appearance. The plant produces clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers—typically pink with red centres—under the right conditions. Its vining growth makes it suitable for hanging baskets or trellised displays.

Hoyas are a Plantsmith favourite due to their easy-going nature and diversity (not to mention some of the craziest names around). They are epiphytic plants, meaning they require a well-draining mix in a tighter pot to be happy; only repot in spring when it is bursting out of its current pot. Find a warm, bight space for these plants, and keep soil on the dryer side during winter and moist during warmer months.
