Hoya Krimson Queen - Semi-Advanced 12.5cm pot

This hard to find variety bred from the hardy hoya carnosa, is just as tough but with striking cream variegation with new growth coming out pink and remaining for months. Fast growing and tollerant of cooler Melbourne weather. Water regularly in the growing season and cut back by about half in the cooler months. 

These are epiphytic plants, which means that they require a well-draining mix in a tighter pot to be happy; only repot in Spring when it is bursting out of its current pot. Find a warm, bright spot for these plants - and some direct morning sun can encourage flowering with some of the loveliest fragrances around.
