Hoya carnosa 'Red Flower' - 13cm pot

Hoya carnosa 'Red Flower' is a striking cultivar of the classic wax plant, admired for its clusters of deep red to crimson, star-shaped flowers that stand out against its glossy green foliage. Like other Hoya carnosa types, it features thick, waxy leaves and a vining growth habit, making it well-suited for trellises, hanging baskets, or cascading from shelves. Producing fragrant blooms under the right conditions, often in warmer months, its bold floral display and easy-care nature make it a favourite among Hoya enthusiasts and indoor plant collectors.

Hoyas are a Plantsmith favourite due to their easy-going nature and diversity (not to mention some of the craziest names around). They are epiphytic plants, meaning they require a well-draining mix in a tighter pot to be happy; only repot in Spring when it is bursting out of its current pot. Provide a warm, bright space and keep soil on the dryer side during winter and moist through warmer months.
