Tillandsia butzii (Air plant) - Medium

Tillandsia butzii, native to Mexico and South America is a pseudo-bulbous variety of air plant with long, thin and whispy foliage, If conditions are right, the butzii can produce a long inflorescence with rose bracts and purple flowers. An easy to care indoor plant that makes a great addition to your houseplant collection, however this species can be susceptible to base rot, so be sure to keep in a well ventilated area.

Mist weekly to keep them healthy, and during the warmer months give them a soak in tepid water for 20 minutes every month or 2. Drain well. Whilst they love humidity these plants don't live in soil so don't like to stay wet.

Once or twice a year, add a weak liquid fertilizer to your mister and you will have a friend for life!
