Most regular glazes consist of a micro-crystalline structure that is invisible to the naked eye, however these fabulous crystalline bowls are characterised by a macro crystalline glaze matrix, that have large crystals that grow big enough for the eye to see. This type of glaze creates a spectacular and random effect. A complex kiln-firing pattern is required to create this type of glaze. There must be an extended period at high temperature to allow these crystals to develop. Technique and chemistry aside, these glazes are super special. Sure not to disappoint, every bowl is one of a kind and beautiful in its own way. Please expect variation from piece to piece.
